TAVERN: An Aegean Long Table in Berlin by Guest Kitchen x SIRENE 

Every Guest Kitchen table tells a different story…and this time, the story is about the union of two cultures that have always shared the same sea, flavors, and spirit: Turkey and Greece.

On Saturday, July 5th, in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, we set a long table inspired by the joyful, abundant gatherings of the Aegean coast. A night where mezzes, rakı, and ouzo flow as freely as conversation, where Turkish & Greek melodies dance with Anatolian warmth, and where the essence of both shores comes together in Berlin.

The evening’s table will feature 12 different mezzes, all 100% vegetarian, a true celebration of the richness of Aegean cuisine. From Fava, Fresh Green Beans in Olive Oil, Borlotti beans, and Fresh Pea Salad to beloved classics like Şakşuka, Mütebbel, Köpoğlu, Girit Ezmesi…There will also be Cretan Cheese Spread, Artichokes with Mustard Sauce, a Summer Seach & Halloumi Salad, Melon and Watermelon, and to finish, the sweet delight of traditional Turkish Lokma dessert.

This isn’t just dinner; it’s a shared cultural table. Smiling faces and flowers. Joy, friendship and summer around a table. One where stories are exchanged, games are played, songs were loud, cheers were abundant and strangers become friends. as always…just as it happens in the taverns by the Aegean.
